Our Methods
.Our training is based on respect and leadership, along with fulfilling our dog's “Wild” instincts through play, enrichment, exercise, proper nutrition, and time spent in nature. Dogs need structure and guidance to succeed in our human world. It's our job to guide and teach them. Respecting the dogs breed, temperament and genetics is going to help them live a longer happy life.
Getting Back to Nature
One of my favorite activities to do with our personal dogs is getting them out on hiking adventures. It makes my heart happy to see them running free and exploring. Most household dogs are not getting enough exercise, this can lead to an array of behavioral issues. Research shows that spending times outdoors, helps dogs with anxiety, confidence building, physical health, and behavior.
Calm and Confident
We teach owners how to better understand and communicate with their dogs. Once we can understand how dogs are are feeling we are better able to help them regulate their emotions. A confident dog will better react to new environments and sudden changes.
Wild Side
As much as we want to spoil our dogs and treat them as part of the family. We must respect that they are wild animals and their approach to the world is different to ours.
